The Raqtan showrooms showcase very well how much civil and MEP work can go into a ‘simple’ interior project, depending the circumstances. In Jeddah, our team almost performed a retro-fit, as the structure of the old building required a lot of maintenance and upgrades: From stripping-out works, moisture treatment, supply and installation of AHU and fresh air and exhaust fan units, to firefighting and alarm systems, to lighting and industrial electrical power systems for equipment. Not to mention the raised floors and special flooring systems (Flowcrete/Flowfast), porcelain tiles, carpet flooring, special grid ceiling, glazed partitions etc.
As Havelock One was happy to go the extra mile and we were flexible and on schedule even though the lack of complete tender drawings from the designer led to variation orders, Raqtan is currently entrusting us with a third project, their manufacturing facility in Dammam.
