Our client for this turnkey fit-out project, Food Fund International (FFI), is no stranger, even to a B2C audience: Their key brand The Meat Co. is known for taking dining to a theatrical level with interior designs and décor that enliven the senses and prepare the palate for the exquisite cuisine they serve.
Located in Manama’s cultural quarter, Clay certainly lives up to the same brand qualities. Serving Japanese-Peruvian cuisine, the restaurant stands out with its warm and distinctively earthy colour scheme. The natural materials, wooden furniture and the combination of parquet flooring and marble lets guests feel at ease and grounded in the moment.

Our joinery and upholstery department in Askar, Bahrain produced the intricate wood carvings and the tufted banquettes that allow guests to talk comfortably while dining. You will also see the craftmanship of our glazier and metalworking teams in the countertop, doors and windows in textured and tinted glass offering hypnotic views of the city.
So, go ahead, enjoy a Nikkei dish or two. While you’re there, don’t miss the hand-painted ceramic mural and the mesmerising ceiling art with hanging clay balls and Japanese paper lanterns at the bar area!
