Foundation of the joint venture Havelock One
When Havelock Europa PLC ventured into the Middle East, they were looking for the right partner and found it in American Home Industries, based in Bahrain, to form Havelock AHI (now Havelock One).
History
Since its incorporation in 1998, Havelock One Interiors has become one of the most renowned turnkey fit-out contractors and manufacturers of high-quality joinery, decorative metal works and sophisticated shop-fittings in the Middle East.

2000
Establishment of Interior Solutions WLL
To serve our clients better, we incorporated a subsidiary for contracting projects to complement our interior manufacturing division.
2001
Acquisition of largest joinery factory in Bahrain
To cater to the growing demand for our joinery and metal works, we acquired the main manufacturing facility of Blico (Bahrain Light Industries Company), a company listed on the Bahraini stock exchange.
2003
Acquisition of majority stake by HSBC Private Equity
Seeing the high potential of the region, the industry and our management, the private equity arm of the British financial service provider acquired majority stake in the Company.
2003
Incorporation of subsidiary in Kuwait
After establishing itself as a trusted interiors partner in Bahrain, Havelock One expanded to Kuwait.
2005
Establishment of branch in KSA
Only one year later, Havelock One grew further by opening an office in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
2006
Acquisition by Retail International Co.
To secure its supply chain and support the rapid growth of its regional network of global F&B, retail and hospitality brands, Retail International Company acquired Havelock One.
2008
Incorporation of subsidiary in KSA
Evolving the business in Saudi Arabia further, Havelock One transformed the Riyadh office from a branch into a fully-fledged subsidiary.
2009
Acquisition of Edge Interiors in Abu Dhabi
Looking for the right opportunity in the United Arab Emirates, Havelock One acquired the fit-out contractor Edge Interiors.
2010
Establishment of branch in Dubai
Acknowledging the strategic importance of Dubai as a business centre, we set-up a branch only one year after entering the UAE market.
2016
Workforce reaches 1,000 employees.
The growth in business has been mirrored by a continuous growth in employees, workers and sub-contracted manpower.

Incorporation of subsidiary in Qatar
Setting up shop in Doha allowed us to add yet another GCC office to our regional network.
2017
Start of construction of new factory in Bahrain
Given that the Askar factory is producing near full capacity, our management decided to build an additional 300,000 sq. ft. facility nearby our established premises.
2018
Opening of the Sanabis office
To give Interiors Solutions WLL a dedicated space and to be more accessible from Manama, we opened our second office in a central location of Bahrain.

Rebranding as Havelock One
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Company, we re-branded ourselves as Havelock One to elevate our corporate identity and design.
