Havelock One turns 25… Our journey so far
As Havelock One celebrates its 25th anniversary, it’s a great time to reflect on the journey that has led us to where we are today.
We’ve come a long way since our inception in 1998, and it’s all thanks to our incredible team and clients who have supported us throughout the years.
The beginning
Our journey started when Havelock Europa PLC set its sights on the Middle East and joined forces with American Home Industries to create Havelock AHI, which we now know as Havelock One Interiors. From our early beginnings as a custom manufacturing provider, we quickly evolved to become a turnkey fit out service provider, as we recognised the need to offer a complete solution to our clients. We took on some of the most luxurious hospitality, retail, and royal palace projects, which gave us the opportunity to showcase our creativity and quality workmanship.
GCC Expansion
We started to branch out into other GCC countries by setting up subsidiaries initially in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. We were fortunate to work with five-star hoteliers such as Sheraton, Kuwait and Holiday Inn, Al Khobar. By 2016 we were operational in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Qatar. By then our workforce had grown to 1,000 people and we began work on our second factory in Askar, Bahrain to increase the size and scale of our operational capacity.
Havelock One as you see it
Fast forward to 2018, and we formally rebranded as Havelock One Interiors. This marked a new chapter in our journey, as we refreshed our logo and brand identity to better reflect who we are as a company. We’ve since completed over 8,800 projects globally, and our focus remains on being the partner of choice for the most admired projects in the GCC.
Of course, none of this would have been possible without our incredible team of over 1,200 people across five countries. They are the backbone of our business, and we’re proud to have such a talented and dedicated group of individuals who bring their unique skills and experiences to the table every day.
It’s been an incredible 25 years for Havelock One, and we’re excited to see what the future holds. We’re grateful for our clients, team, and partners who have been instrumental in our success, and we’re confident that we’ll continue to make an impact in the industry for years to come.
