We refurbished a leading international school while it remained fully operational for 750 students.

Every stage was carefully planned around the rhythm of a working school day at RAK Academy, Al Khuzam, ensuring teaching and learning continued without disruption as the campus was transformed. Working from a schematic design supplied by the client, our team developed the detailed design, technical drawings and shop drawings required to deliver the project. The works were carried out under strict safety protocols and a phased methodology that accommodated daily operations across the campus.

The programme included the design development and execution of refurbishment works across key learning and leisure spaces.

Libraries, sixth-form areas, café and collaboration zones were refreshed to create open, functional environments that support both learning and social interaction. Close coordination and adjusted working hours ensured minimal disruption throughout delivery, while early value engineering exercises enabled a 31% reduction in the initial project scope cost, without compromising the overall design intent or delivery objectives.
