China Tang at The Lana, Dorchester Collection, marks the brand’s debut in the Middle East from London’s Mayfair.

Covering more than 8,000 sq. ft., the space unfolds across two levels, bringing together a statement main dining room, secluded private areas, an open-air terrace, and a low-lit bar and lounge. Working closely with North51 Consulting, a Hong Kong based design team and an international client team, we delivered bespoke elements including the decorative raft ceiling in the lounge area, ornate bar counters and a striking reception desk featuring basket-style metalwork at our facility in Bahrain before shipping to Dubai for installation.

China Tang is a brand that sets the bar for luxury dining, our execution meets the design vision while supporting the operational flow of a world-class restaurant.

From early-stage structural changes to accommodate the new lift and staircase, through to the final finishes and joinery, we managed evolving design requirements while maintaining momentum across trades and time zones. One of the most complex challenges was the illuminated wall feature, which underwent several full-scale mock-ups to perfect its glow and colour balance.
