We recently completed a full-scale refurbishment of Aldhafra Desert Resort, part of IHG’s Vignette Collection.

Located in Madinat Zayed, near the edge of the Rub' al Khali — the world’s largest sand desert, Aldhafra Desert Resort is a luxurious retreat designed to offer an experience deeply rooted in Emirati culture. The architecture draws inspiration from traditional Arabian forts, using warm tones and natural textures that reflect the desert surroundings.

Havelock One - Aldhafra Resort - Courtyard

Our team carried out a full refurbishment of the resort, upgrading over 90 standard rooms, adding new Liwan suites, and revamping key areas such as the reception, courtyard, and dining spaces.

We repainted the entire façade, polished the flooring, and introduced wooden and metal mashrabiya detailing across balcony railings and reception counters – offering both aesthetic value and practical privacy. Every update was considered to ensure the space feels durable, cohesive, and welcoming.
